About Laura

I’m Laura, founder of Sonomare. My work brings together over twelve years of experience in music, therapeutic sound, body-based practices, and an approach to supporting others rooted in presence, attentive listening, and creativity.

Founder of Sonomare.

“Sound was my first language.

My body taught me a different way of listening.”

Before Sonomare, there was music.

Music has been part of my life for more than twelve years, beginning with voice, songwriting, and production, and later evolving into a different question: what happens when we stop experiencing sound only as music and begin to perceive it through the body as well?

That journey gradually led me towards therapeutic sound, body-based practices, and different approaches to supporting others.

Sonomare was born from bringing these worlds together and shaping them into an approach of my own.

Creating the space we sometimes need

Sonomare was born from a simple idea: we don’t always need to do more. Sometimes, we simply need a space that feels safe enough to pause, listen, and reconnect with ourselves.

That’s why every experience is thoughtfully shaped around the environment, sound, the body, and the connection with the person in front of me.

Not to tell you how you should feel, but to give you the space to discover how you truly are.

A practice of continuous learning

My approach has been shaped by different disciplines that now come together within Sonomare.

Music and Voice

The origin of Sonomare

Sonomare was born from the union of two words: sono and mare

Sono, from sound.
Mare, from the sea.

Two elements that represent the essence of the project: sound as a way of listening and perceiving, and the sea as a symbol of movement, depth, rhythm, and return.

Sonomare was born from this meeting point: sound, body, and presence, creating a space where you can slow down and listen to yourself again.

I'm not here to guide you to any particular state.

My work begins with something simpler: creating the conditions for you to listen to what is happening within you.

I use sound, voice, the body, silence, and presence as resources, adapting them to each person and each moment.

No two sessions are the same, because we don’t arrive at them in the same way.

Listen before intervening.
Adapt rather than follow a formula.
Support without imposing.

Outside of sessions, I continue to find inspiration in many of the same things that shape Sonomare: music, the Mediterranean, nature, movement, quiet spaces, and conversations that invite us to look a little deeper within.

“Sonomare is, above all, a space for listening, presence, and exploration, where sound, the body, and creativity come together to open up new possibilities for wellbeing, connection, and self-discovery.”

Sonomare creates safe spaces where people can reconnect with who they are through sound, the body, and presence.
